Natural environments of extraordinary beauty, beaches, lakes, mountains, forests, cliffs, marshes …, make up the rich and varied landscape.
Spain has a wide network of National Parks with 15 natural environments protected by its high ecological value.
The Spanish beaches are of exceptional quality. On our coasts they wave more than 400 blue flags, which recognize the quality of its waters, its services and the care of the environment.
It is also the third country with greater number of declarations of UNESCO World Heritage: large cities, medieval towns, villages, constitute an architectural, artistic and cultural value.
